Hamish west over to entertain the troops in the Middle East in December 2006. Troops from Australia, America, Canada & England. Other entertainers travelling with Hamish included singers Matt Scullion & Cass Eager, comedian Gary Bradbury and motivational speaker Dick Smith.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR !!

The most exciting news right now for the Davidson Brothers is that we are about to release a brand new album, which was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. The record was produced by the very talented Mark Thornton, who also plays guitar in Jerry Reed's band. Musicians appearing on the album are Bryan Sutton (guitar), Randy Kohrs (dobro) and Dennis Crouch (bass). There is also a guest vocal by Travis List of South Australia.

The album is already receiving industry recognition, winning two TIARA Awards in 2007 (Australian Independent Country Music Awards). The awards being BEST INSTRUMENTAL and the much sought after ALBUM OF THE YEAR.

Lachie & Hamish currently have a new video on CMC (Country Music Channel, Foxtel) for RAISED ON THE ROAD. The video was directed in Melbourne by the very talented Ross Wood. During the 2007 Tamworth Country Music Festival the video was CLIP OF THE WEEK and aired every hour for the entire week.
